Gardenia is a delicate plant with glossy, dark green leaves, which persists for a whole year and blooms wonderfully. To water the gardenia most effectively, place the pot on a layer of gravel that is submerged in water, but not completely. In summer, it is recommended to spray the leaves with water. In spring and summer, it is important that the soil is moist, but in winter watering can be reduced, without letting the mixture dry completely between waterings. It is recommended to replant every spring, in March or April, with great care so as not to break the roots.
