care tips: Temperature and light - Kalanchoe needs a lot of light and can withstand even the

• direct rays of the sun, provided it is morning or here in winter, when there is no risk of burning the leaves. In summer we will take care not to stay more than two hours in the sun, early in the morning or at sunset. The ideal temperature is 20-25 degrees, but the plant tolerates between 7 and 35 degrees! Attention! Kalanchoe blooms in winter only if we maintain a constant temperature of 15 degrees!
• Water — Kalanchoe species should be watered moderately during spring and winter, usually when we notice that the soil has dried out. In autumn and winter we will only water the plant when it is dry of everything and, the lower the temperature, the less water we will put. Below 10 degrees we will stop watering Calandiva
• Changing the pot - Kalanchoe needs a new pot and soil every year. We will use a soil for cacti to which we will add a little sand. To avoid accumulations of water that can damage the plant, we will put pebbles under the pot to favor the drainage of excess water. The bowl in the picture is for presentation. It is not included in the price. The plant is delivered in a plastic container. To favor soil sweating and evaporation of excess water, we recommend a clay pot!
• Fertilizer - From spring and continuing throughout the summer, we will use fertilizer twice a month, taking care not to put more than half the dose once. For the rest of the year we will stop the process.
