Kalanchoe - care tips: Temperature and light - Kalanchoe needs a lot of light and can withstand even direct sunlight, provided it is morning or winter, when there is no risk of leaves . In summer we will make sure not to stay in the sun for more than two hours, early in the morning or at sunset. The ideal temperature is 20-25 degrees, but the plant tolerates between 7 and 35 degrees! Careful! Kalanchoe blooms in winter only if we maintain a constant temperature of 15 degrees! Water - Kalanchoe species should be watered moderately during the spring and winter, usually when we notice that the soil has dried up. In autumn and winter we will water the plant only when it is completely dry and the lower the temperature, the less water we will put. Below 10 degrees we will stop watering Calandiva. Pot Change - Kalanchoe needs new pots and soil every year. We will use a cactus soil to which we will add a little sand. In order to avoid water accumulations that can damage the plant, we will place pebbles under the pot to favor the drainage of excess water.
